Hi everyone. I wasn't sure where to post this and Adobe Audition doesn't seem to have its own forum.
My question is, how is Audition compared to CE Pro? I love the scientific filter in CE pro and use it a great deal. Does Audition have the same filter unchanged?
What else does it offer and is it worth getting based on these factors?

Thanks,
Steve

Think of Audition as the latest version of CEpro. I think th emain new feature Adobe added was support for VST effects but I am sure there is much more.

I ended up trashing my Audition upgrade and went back to using CEP 2. I found the VST support too buggy and none of the other new features were enough to warrant the upgrade for me.

Everything from CE2 plus ReWire support, Video, surround, VST... try the demo from Adobe's site and see for yourself. It's great!

Yeah, I've had problems as well. What bugs have you found with the vsts? At first I found it worked fine, but when I was installing a new plugin, I found it managed to lose all but one of them.

It's not enough to go back though, I love the new version.

I got adobe audition for free (my brother got it for free with his soundcard which he just uses for games)

Audition is so much faster than cooledit you wont believe it. Every operation, from applying effects to loading massive audio files are performed lightning quick. Adobe really polished the program.
