Hi,

What are the best resources (free & paid) to learn to use this DAW?

The one that I like a lot is Polarity

I really liked the dom Kane tutorials from sonic academy - it is produced in my music style and I was able to reproduce everything he showed in bitwig. Although my main DAW is Ableton and I hardly used bitwig, it was easy to follow him and to experience his workflow in bitwig.
I like these kinds of videos more, than a walkthrough of a daw with every function. I later added some tutorials for grid.
Also a subscription from sonic academy isn’t expensive if you use it only for one month

1. The learning resources on the official Bitwig website can put you on the right track. Start with the "Getting Started" section:
https://www.bitwig.com/learn/?tag=Getting%20Started

+ Claire Marie Lim's Imsta Festa Online 2020 presentation is also pretty well put together, clear explanations of the basics:

2. Than at some point reading the full manual is a must. + I suggest you to take well structured notes where you feel like it's necessary. Me for example, I ended up with something like a 25 page long super clearly organized "condensed manual" that I could search very quickly if I was stuck with (or forgot) something. Reading the manual quadrupled my speed and efficiency with Bitwig.

3. To learn the grid properly, I highly suggest you to check out XNB's 12 part free youtube tutorial series called Learning Bitwig PolyGrid:

Coming from Live, I liked the one from Thavius Beck https://ask.audio/academy?nleloc=catego ... coasqjhhq1. It's the same one found inside Bitwig, but cheaper at ask.audio direct. Just sign up for 1 month.
