Awesome, i'll check this out after the stream has finished. I did try Octamed as a kid! possibly a demo off a magazine, couldn't get my head round all the 00000's but loved it non the less.Demuvi wrote: Sat May 04, 2024 11:00 pm If you guys are amiga fans then you can follow my Main Channel and enjoy hundrets of Amiga & C64 Remixes.![]()
What was the name of songs that people who made the copies of games made? Some of those were amazing, favourites at the time... I'd love to hear some again. 1 specifically but I'd never remember which game it was on or who made it. They used to tag their work with a graphic, animation and a tune, so it could of been on a few.

Are you talking about the demoscene which started with cracktros and demos? Groups added little intros before games such as Fairlight, Red Sector, Tristar, TRSi, Rebels, Razor1911 etc.mitchiemasha wrote: Sun May 05, 2024 1:04 amAwesome, i'll check this out after the stream has finished. Making music with trackers has a kind of charm and immediacy which is awesome.
But at one moment the limitations became unbearable for me (and then reason studios came with their 303, 808 and 909 emissions, I never looked back).

I remember when Octamed Studio was billed as of the Rolls Royce of trackers.mitchiemasha wrote: Sun May 05, 2024 1:04 amAwesome, i'll check this out after the stream has finished. It was great but I always preferred ProTracker.
Then I got into Music-X with a Yamaha Tg-33 rack module. Music -X has some very rudimentary sample playback and might be actually the first multitrack Daw.
I still maintain that Music-X has the best piano roll editor ever.

Hi I wanted to ask you by chance if "Wavegem" could reload all the multisamples etc that he gave away in the past, Dave Smiths Mopho, MicroBrute, I would really like to listen to them. Because most of the dropbox links are expired.

is there any progress for a slicer module and it come soon ?msvs wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 8:59 amthe granular engine can never become a good slicer. Like I said, we plan a real slicer module für 2.0. That makes more sense than somehow force the granular into something half bakedmagicmusic wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 7:03 amwhen avenger maybe can allow exact settings. for 120 bpm need set the grain size to 250 ms and the grain density to 4 then the fades from grain env are on every beat and when use drums they can not hear. i think then avenger this way can sound better as many other slicer. many slicer do less or more clicks when rearrange.
but it can also work with shorter grainsize when read rate is same as wav then no grain env is need. only need the grain env when a position change happen to play another slice. maybe that the fades happen every grain size is because i can not set exact 40 grains per second on grain density
