Heya,
DiscoDSP have the new fx bundle for $100 aud
-what have you done to ThillMe and Nightshine?

--honestly I am thrilled that you would still offer ThrillMe,
it fattens the apparent level like nothing else if you want it to
If you want to control the apparently mystic ui of thrillme, just remember trs
like stereo pins
-it's T hreshold R atio S pectral balance
-but what has changed? -why should I buy these 2?
I sort of like to master,
never really used Nightshine, but thanks for suggesting a new tool

Heya,

ThrillMe 2, EQ30, and NightShine are kinda "legacy" products since they're Windows 32-bit only. We're focusing on maintaining and updating the rest of the plugins in our lineup, with new ones planned:

Schroeder Reverb: Adds high-quality digital reverb for natural ambience.
Scope Visualizer: Provides visual waveform analysis.
ThrillMe 3: Advanced multi-band compressor with four dynamic bands.

If you like ThrillMe 2 for its unique sound, it might still be worth it, but don't expect new features.

Cheers!

I'm vastly interested in ThrillMe 3,
am willing to pay the 100,
if it looks good, both ui-wise and under the hood

I have mastered like 30 tracks with the 32-bit version

ty for the information, I will wait for tm3

ThrillMe and an infinite soft clip are all that's needed to master hot and ok

-question answered, I'm lucky to have these 2
...let me know again when tm3 is out, will be curious to try it

I’m glad you found the info useful! If you’re interested in ThrillMe 3, it’s already available in the FX Bundle, and there’s a demo version you can try out. Given your experience mastering tracks with the 32-bit version, it sounds like you’re ready to dive into the new version at https://www.discodsp.com/fx/

I've actually understood that you vastly
made the interface understandable,
I'll get it, because it has served me so well,
and in future I'll master in 64-bit,
with more controls
-but I still like the 32-bit one's mystifying quality, and glowing tube heh

Any chance you'd consider updating Nightshine? AFAIK it's the only Alesis 3630 emulation available.

There are no plans for NightShine yet, sorry.

Thanks! Maybe we could add a "retro mode" that mimics the ThrillMe 2 interface in future updates :) The saturation in ThrillMe 2 is actually worse, by the way.

It's like the old saying goes: One man's "worse" is another man's "vintage digital"

Haha, that’s a good one! While both ThrillMe 2 and ThrillMe 3 are digital, ThrillMe 3 features an enhanced algorithm for saturation. This means it will sound better and more refined. We appreciate the nostalgia for the older versions, but we’re always striving to improve the sound quality in our updates. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
