Is there an app or site that would allow playback of arbitrary specified scales?

For instance, I have an ai recommend me these scales to fit some lyrics Am - F - G - C - Em - F - G - Am. I could make them in a daw, but is there an easier way to audition these, like a site, couldn't find one, or a vsti or app where I use text to prompt playback of these scales?

If I have a list of like 50 chords, I just want to audition them, not waste brain power creating them from scratch in a daw or breaking out a midi keyboard. Surely there is a way to convert text chord formula to audio to audition. That doesn't seem complicated.

Ask that AI for advice how to do it.
If it's not scales but chord progressions you wanna try out (rather Big difference) then try something like Band-in-a-Box.

I did, just linked to guitar chord sites and some other examples I don't have access to, different daws.
That look's like it. $129 though?

Well, Best if you learn/play yourself but other than that I also use Chordpulse which is fast & handy for quickly checking out how some chords may fit together (or NOT)... Very well engineered you can create full backings also export MIDI...

Thanks guys. The site I found is what I was after. I just want to copy and paste some progressions and audition them, not take a year of classes or learn how to code lol. Thanks guys!

True, I can play chords and bring out the MIDI, but I'm not always in front of my computer or have my midi keyboard connected. If I'm working with exotic scales and progressions, I'd have to waste a lot of brainpower to audition them when I just want to snag a progression and go from there and use my energy for composition instead. Decision fatigue and brain power drain is a thing.eLawnMust wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 10:06 am Well, Best if you learn/play yourself but other than that I also use Chordpulse which is fast & handy for quickly checking out how some chords may fit together (or NOT)... there are several thousand existing scripts for reaper
or more
one of them could be what you need
and if it doesn't exist, one could ask nicely...
and a script-writer could probably create what you need,
and most likely, for free too
