I am replacing my aged Dell laptop with a Geekom IT 12 mini PC..Sent one back because of serious hum when connecting to my audio interface. They sent me a new one and it still does the same thing. Changed USB cords..inputs.. Interface works great with my laptop.. Any clues?? Getting desperate! The Geekom runs smoothly running proTools besides this hum issue!

I suspect the power over USB supplied by the PC is 'dirty': not a stable decent current, but fluctuates at the rate of the AC power. Also there can be a ground loop via USB and some other cable.
You can try inserting a powered USB hub between the PC and interface.
