Melda has way more options and settings. For instance, the chorus. Because of that for me it is harder to get the right sound out of it. Kilohearts - less controls, but straight to the point.

A guy on Reddit has been keeping a spreadsheet of good free plugins up to date for a while. I've found it to be pretty good.

invest some money on non-free plugins, there are pretty cheap options on the market that are better than free.
you are also not mentioning, if this is for creativity or mix & master.

TDR freebies at bottom of this page are top quality essential fx

I would also add Variety Of Sound plugins, if you can get them to work.

For me, it's about workflow.
Melda plugins are more convoluted, with an unattractive, less intuitive GUI.
Kilohearts plugins are very streamlined, with a clean and efficient user-friendly GUI.
So personally, I always use the latter.

Bundles can be dangerous as you'd spend more time scrolling through plugins than making music (GAS)
So Airwindows with 400 plugins is a turn-off for me.
Kilohearts and Melda both have great plugins, but again long list, can install all then remove or hide all but favourites.

Not a bundle but Deelay is my favourite delay plugin, easier to control than Supermassive.
And for the best value for money bundle, IK Mixbox is unbeatable and really cool.

the problem i have with these is there not laid out the way i know them so are confusing for me
