Beta bugs aside, how does anyone trying this out so far like it?

it doesn’t come with any fx really mate like eq compressors etc , but if you can add your own fx it’s a boss program , the shape instrument it comes with is a rompler with simple but professinal sounds from spitfire orange tree samples etc , ocean way drums , theres orchestral horns strings , all you need to do is add some synths really your bread and butter is there , about the program some people don’t like the midi but i think it’s fairly easy to get to grips with , there are plenty of good tutorials on youtube (which is a plus , it’s a good decent Daw mate and it’s free , i am selling my bitwig essentials because i prefer the look and feel of this and it’s free , a reason user complained it’s so difficult but coming from reason i find it similar as in similar to cubase and logic , you just have to get used to the different zooms in different programs for me far easier than reaper .KVRforumRulez wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 6:49 pm Beta bugs aside, how does anyone trying this out so far like it?

Nice. I actually use Reaper and Reason for many years, love Reaper, love/hate with Reason. I'm liking Luna a lot so far, really simple analog style workflow. Kinda light on more advanced features but, maybe they'll add some of the more important ones over time.dartfordyes wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 7:32 pmit doesn’t come with any fx really mate like eq compressors etc , but if you can add your own fx it’s a boss program , the shape instrument it comes with is a rompler with simple but professinal sounds from spitfire orange tree samples etc , ocean way drums , theres orchestral horns strings , all you need to do is add some synths really your bread and butter is there , about the program some people don’t like the midi but i think it’s fairly easy to get to grips with , there are plenty of good tutorials on youtube (which is a plus , it’s a good decent Daw mate and it’s free , i am selling my bitwig essentials because i prefer the look and feel of this and it’s free , a reason user complained it’s so difficult but coming from reason i find it similar as in similar to cubase and logic , you just have to get used to the different zooms in different programs for me far easier than reaper .KVRforumRulez wrote: Thu May 30, 2024 6:49 pm Beta bugs aside, how does anyone trying this out so far like it?
I don't care at all about included FX. I have a ton of FX lol... it's 2024. We're like drowning in quality FX both free and paid at this point.
Maybe hang onto your Bitwig, just because that program is such it's own style of workflow, ya know? It can be fun.

It could be a few things, you can check their Bug and Workaround thread on their forums for more information.lotus2035 wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:23 pm This never loaded past the splash screen for me (Windows 10), just tried it again with the new update and still no luck.![]()

It could be a plug-in that's not playing nicely, there are several posts in the above mentioned thread about how to get around that. You may also have better luck trying to run it in Administrator mode, could be something to do with the UAC. Be sure to send feedback and leave as much detail as possible.
I know that VPS Avenger 2.1 crashes immediately.

You don't need a UA interface, all interfaces should work, but currently there are some that are having beta bug issues. I still have to toggle between two drivers in order to get mine to work. They should fix that hopefully on the next patch release.Subbase wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2024 8:27 pm too bad you need a UA Audio interface to run this, would love to try it
There is an advantage of using a UA device though, you get the ability to use ARM recording, which offloads to the devices onboard DSP with special internal routing in Luna, for the lowest latency possible.

This link might be the solution to your problem. If not maybe check out the forums, there could be another suggestion. You could try to leave a comment or feedback if you can't find something that works.
