Aberrant DSP (Sketch Cassette, Digitalis, Shapeshifter) have released a new Reverb, Lair.

Like the rest of their stuff Lair isn't your standard Reverb but a collection of weird and off kilter algorithms with some wild parameters to tweak.

Some of the best promo videos too.

Unashamedly LOFI production wise but actually show how their products can be used in actual real world scenarios.

Love the video ...and the plugin. Very much in my wheelhouse.

It's kind of like what I imagined EQD Afterneath would be for me, but way better. It's a little less controllable in some ways than I would like -- if you're not using Artifact you can't do much to directly change the delay times within the reverb, and sometimes I think it would benefit from post-distortion filtering. But still, extremely tasty.

Cool plugin, good for some gritty lofi noises with long decay times.

Not sure if the width control is working properly. Moving it from mono to 1% makes it go full stereo immediately. Hope that gets changed.

Worth buying even though I probably won't use it regularly.

I think this is the first plugin I've played where I can make sounds that actually scare me, it's like that feeling that there's just some horrific thing at the edge of your vision that you can't quite see but you know it is there

So happy to hear that! We definitely got that sensation ourselves when putting together the Rift device, there’s an uncanny quality to some of the Attunement and modulation sounds that still send a chill down my spine and honestly it’s hard to say why. Just creepy!
