We live in interesting times. Tomorrow there will be offensive to have all presets that starts on letter "M", because of some new cultural idiosyncrasy. And developers will meet new wave of moaners, whoes feeling are deeply hurt.

Every other rap song in the world have similar words and expressions and everybody just ok. People just make it louder in their cars and then they start rocking to the beat. But how dared developer name the preset like these?
Yesterday you jumped and danced to a Skrillex track with similar vocabulary, today you turned on the offended boy because of the preset name. It's a mad world.

I love Rapid, one of my favorite VA's, I'd love to see what Parawave plans for their next major update. Mines always worked with zero issues.

Same (although is it a VA? I suppose it can function as one ), as I was writing earlier I also hope to see a further update. It's a shame these threads get derailed by battles with social justice keyboard warriors etc. and hinder any communication there could have been with the dev. Parawave could open their own forum, but that's probably a significant undertaking. Do you think perhaps the keyboard warriors would be interested in their own dedicated thread for complaints? It would be a doable solution to separate those who are more interested in Rapid and those who are more interested in arguing the ethics of naming presets etc.

I believe its time to lock this thread.

I didn't pull up what Doggo posted earlier (had other things to do like get dinner sorted out), but the posting of false information about me creating a thread about it, didn't happen. I highlighted it in the main Rapid thread that existed. Just more BS from him.

The thing is I had only just purchased Rapid at that point, didn't really need your input at that time, give yourself a pat on the back for your positive contribution and how in the most unlikely way you pretty much ended what little motivation Parawave had left.

Now if the Parawave developers acted maturely and professionally when this negative aspect was raised in the naming of the preset, then the thread would have carried on as usual. But no, that didn't happen, they wanted to rebel and went off on a strop when they couldn't win the community over to their way. They couldn't take the criticism of the naming of a preset for god sake lol. Now I don't know of any other developer that would have acted in this way. But it was something that had to be questioned, not because I had some 'beef' or malice against Parawave but to point something out to them that they may not have recognised as being sexist and just not coming to find in a professional commercial product, particularly when you compare it to other current developers. Their attitude was their way or the highway for everyone else who objected. They tried to ignore everyone, but that didn't work, so they threw in the towel and locked the thread. And by the way, it's me who has contributed to the development of free skins for Rapid which you can find on my website, and the first to do so outside the product on KVR. Now that's my positive contribution, I've never seen anything from you, other than nonsense, and an inexplicable ignorance of other's views.
