Nah, no biggie. I still got it for no more than €1.79
As long as you can make peace that it will offer you very little control as a 'channel strip'. I will just use it as my 'AI toneshaping-box'

Useless. Version 3 and even 1 and 2 are better. The EQ matching in 4 is always off, the Punch or whatever they call the compressor is terrible, and the Distortion makes it sound like shit. They missed the ball on this one. It was free recently, and i can see why. Plus- They are actually hiding the latency controls in the full version, so even with delay comp on in Ableton, you can still hear the latency.
Ableton Live 10, Korg Monologue. Various vst's and effects

I've got Elements and it just seems to put the same EQ curve on every track, even after it 'listens' to a track. Same if I load a Reference file.

I don’t understand the elements versions of their plugins especially the recent ones, not only are they pretty much useless but they don’t provide an upgrade path or discount to the full versions, just a cross grade from any Izotope plugin.Actually their loyalty pricing is a joke,it doesn’t seem to know what I already have . Why does the loyalty offers want to sell me ozone 11 standard when I already own it and why don’t I get an upgrade discount on advanced.

I've had 4 Elements do some absolutely bizarre things to sounds I've put in there- no idea what it's doing behind the scenes, but it's really mangled stuff in sonically interesting ways.
So I don't see myself using it to arrive at a sound I want, but for now am keeping it as a sort of random creative effect.
Also, in Cubase 12 after opening a project it has HORRIBLE latency, but de-activating and re-activating fixes it.

4 Elements definitely feels like a demo- like they meant from the beginning for this to be given away or sold in bundles rather than on its own. 3 Elements seems quite good, good enough that I considered when looking for a second-hand copy how much I would use the features in the more robust versions and decided to just buy Elements.ChanceB wrote: Mon Jun 03, 2024 1:50 pm I don’t understand the elements versions of their plugins especially the recent ones, not only are they pretty much useless but they don’t provide an upgrade path or discount to the full versions, just a cross grade from any Izotope plugin.Actually their loyalty pricing is a joke,it doesn’t seem to know what I already have . That’s what they are a demo basically ,and that would make sense if they offered an upgrade path for them or they actually worked but they don’t. If they worked then maybe I would impressed by their superior AI tech and racing to their website to Upgrade to the full versions but they don’t.They should be free like Trash free because they suck, really. Sonible does it much better. You can get their Pure plugins for cheap which are actual useful tools with fewer controls and is you want more control you can get the Smart plugins and they offer nice loyalty discounts.concealed identity wrote: Mon Jun 03, 2024 1:59 pm4 Elements definitely feels like a demo- like they meant from the beginning for this to be given away or sold in bundles rather than on its own.
