VOODOO U wrote: Mon Jun 03, 2024 12:35 am The particular plants /herbs I am talking about is not available to the layman anymore. They died with the Native Americans of long ago.
Which plants are those? And how did you learn about them? I'd love to know more. Any suggested reading or sources?
Seek and you will find.
And why do you recommend we eat them, when they don't even exist anymore?
Did I recommend? I thought I was being descriptive.
BTW there are still 5 million native americans in the USA today.
Well obviously I am not referencing them if I say Native Americans of LONG AGO.

There might yet be a few cacti and fungus still worth eating at this point in history. Interestingly, the native Americans tended to reach altered mental states via physical and mental stress more than chemical reaction, very likely. They were weird like that...

1/4 Algonquin btw...

*My forebearers didn't do anything like that I guess, I'm told that all they would do
was break the ice of the nearest river during winter and toss all the newborns in,
those that survived it, were made official members of the tribe.

The rest of the time, they spent killing other Indians mostly, as that was their thing.

I am seeking, that's why I asked ...

Forgive me for being skeptical when someone claims to have secret knowledge and is unwilling to share it, despite suggesting how important it is for people to know it. And then when pressed, they get vague and dismissive about it. It suggests there was never much substance in the first place, but rather, a heavily romanticised take on (what you've erroneously implied as monolothic) "Native American" spiritualism. I was hoping you could prove me wrong, or at least point me toward any kind of source of information whatsoever.

Considering the harshness of nature, it seems like the very thing to do. It's seems weird because we have the predominantly pleasurable convenience of society. Well at least in most societies.

And here in modern times "our thing" is bars with pool and darts. Evolution is a funny word.

No; you're not seeking. As you stated, you're skeptical and made a sarcastic reply. Bravo. Good luck having anyone help your massive dumb ass (your own admittance btw).

How about you tone down on the marijuana, get out of lazy-ass mode and fish for yourself? No one spoon fed me with whatever experience and knowledge I may have in this regard. I took the initiative.
I threw the info out there enough to maybe spark curiosity, now go do the work.

if we as a species, depending on the knowledge we as individuals can discover ourselves, we would still be living like pre stone age hominids.

Part of the "work" is asking questions. I asked you which plants, and you suddenly became the gatekeeper. We as a species learn better together.

Every researcher or scientist I've met (I lived with one for 10 years and met a lot of her colleagues) has been absolutely thrilled to answer questions about the stuff they've published. It's the scientific community, after all, and it's stuff they're passionate about.

And you claimed you were passionate...

Correct. Sure, you can ask others, but the real key is being in solitude when asking questions because the questions are directed to yourself. Vodoun practitioners call it "root working". It's what I do and there's no substitute. The catch? Answers many times come with no backup. It's all intuitive and you better learn to trust yourself when that happens because science will not save you here. That's not to dis science, but what's made available to the layman has to be limited if society is to function perennially without hiccups. The "experts" are akin to commercials on tv, you'll be fed what is necessary for the whole of society, not what is best
for you or your loved ones as individuals. That meana you're at the ugly end of the stick so do the work and don't expect anyone to feed you ESPECIALLY with that " I got it cool while others make spectacles of themselves" attitude of yours.

I asked you which plants, and you suddenly became the gatekeeper.
Cut your bullshit. I already explained why I won't converse my experiences with you in the last reply to you.

Oh how sweet. Your tenderness makes me boo f**king hoo.

And your dumb enough to believe that some joe blow is just going to starburst info on arcane plants that are arcanums for a reason?? Again, i threw a tidbit, it got you intrigued (thats a good thing), now do your homework and that includes root working.
And you claimed you were passionate...
I see. So not sharing knowledge equals not being passionate. Yeah....tell that to voodoo practioners buddy. They don't need to reveal a damn thing, they don't need "expert scientists", and they don't give a f**k if you bitch, cry and point fingers because you are too spoiled by wikipedia and youtube to do your homework (more like feed you entertaining rubbish).
Enjoy your bong princess.
