Surface Go 4 - use as tablet or laptop - experiences?

Often feel the need to move my pc over to piano or organ looking at videos and pdf:s.

So felt a tablet would be great, but also have software that I am used to.

Is Surface Go 4 an alternative maybe?
- you can use Type Cover as a keyboard if you want and it becomes a laptop

But don't see much listed in stores with all accesories, so don't know how Surface is on the way out or something.

Any experience with it?

I also looked at ARM based Surface Pro X, but seems so unclear which software can run on it.

It's not for daw work, just internet and pdf reading and video lessons and stuff.

EDIT: dropped the idea, seems too little bang for buck unless you really need a Windows solution.

Went with Samsung Tab A9+ which is a quarter in price, and found a good video player that I like for Android too. An 11" screen and not too far from a full sheet of music in size

And still can buy a brand new laptop as the one I have if that goes south, and have money left over. Laptop is just 3 years now so will be there for some years still.
