Just want to say congrats to Scott for his new byline in CM. He's started a series on synth programing. Nice to see his name up in lights.

He's been doing stuff for them for a long time now; are they actually putting names on the articles now?

Yep. It's only a page and just a simple how to make a bass patch with CM101 but it's introduced as "A new series, in which world-renowned sound designer Scott Solida shows you how to create staple sounds. It's called "Scott Solida's Synth Essentials."
He's had his name in there before, of course, but I think this is the first time he gets proper billing.
Tom
Yeah--the photo makes him look good!

Thanks, all of you! It's a little embarrasing, really. I have, of course, been writing for CM every month for a couple of years, but this column was really in direct response to readers' requests for more specific synth programming tips. I am just glad CM's editorial staff are willing to put up with me...

Scot, that's great news! Now I might have to go out and get a subscription and learn something.

Nice one!!
Sounds funny, but if Scott's name is somewhere in the article in CM, I know the info is gonna matter

Good series Scot.
