I seriously can't tell you how smart I feel after spending an evening fixing a song that had a shitty mix because I was chewing gum when I made it.

I spent over an hour, and head splitting frustration, trying to fix the audio in my Linux system, only to realize upon finally giving up, that I had both of the channels from that sound card panned over in the same direction on my hardware mixxer...

I was like,"goddammit!!!!! why am not getting the left f**king channel!!!! I hate f**king linux audio!!!!! arrrrrrgggghhh! that's it, I give u...uhh...oh. I see."

I felt pretty special when I used to work as an engineer in an amateur stuio, we laced up the reel to reel master machine and couldn't work out why there was no top-end on the stuff we were recording, it only took us an hour to spot that we had twisted the tape over before the first capstan..
