Just installed Amplitube CS after like 10 years. I am very happy to finally see the filter for non-owned gear!
While I loved the sound, I immediately uninstalled Neural DSP and STL Tonality after both crashed Ableton after only a few minutes of easy use. What are your experiences with AT5 regarding stability?
Also, which are your most reccommended amps to check out from so many?

I got AT MAX5 for 90 euro,
so by all means have a look what sort of deal they can do for you
I am not an amp guy,
I am divested in stomp chains however.
There is a flat out Vox AC 30 in Brian May's gear though
What's your style?
Just with all the stomps there are interesting chains,
the amps, cabs and microphones must be subtle somewhat
The Orange amps and affiliated gear interest me,
but like it has so many distortion stomps
my fav stomps are:
Nirvana
Nu-Tron III
Octo Blue
MudHoney
Flanger Doubler
Harmonator
I crashed Freestyle with it once in 10 hours so far

Thanks! Exactly what I was asking for. Already have some amp sims, and I need some extra justifications to get Max V5 or not. This sale looks too good to just easily pass.
I also wonder what kind of use cases would be for keyboard/synth sounds.

I can't update. The IK download manager just sits there with 'nan/sec' or something like that.

Peter is notified now
how frustrating
Maybe try running the app as admin
Welcome on the info,
it's been a long session testing these pedals on virtual electric,
cornet, tuba, contrabass, flute, clarinet.
I'm inspired to create tracks with these sounds,
but we'll see
Any sound is open to experimentation really
-the fx types are covered,
maybe there are not that many reverbs,
but delay can do a similar thing
I need an expression pedal really for the vast multitude
of wahs
Guitar Rig has a better modulation system
I'm satisfied enough with these 2,
that I prolly don't need Helix & Vandal too

You can manually download from your IK User Area.Bombadil wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2024 6:56 am I can't update. The IK download manager just sits there with 'nan/sec' or something like that.
My Products > AmpliTube 5 > Past Releases > 5.7.4 > macOS Download
Or whatever version you want to download. Then just run the AmpliTube installer.

The IK 'FullTone Collection' is a steal. Overdrive, chorus and delay, in stomp or rack gui's. Limits one's need for dozens of amps.davidka wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 7:10 am Just installed Amplitube CS after like 10 years. I am very happy to finally see the filter for non-owned gear!

Bassman, Twin-Reverb, and Super-Reverb cover a lot of range...try Soldano and Metal 2000 in the Custom Shop. Also, Orange amps seem to get well-modeled wherever they are available.
Cheers

Maybe testing various preamp models with various cabs? Might get less noise, and closer to frfr.davidka wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2024 6:45 am Thanks! Exactly what I was asking for. I think Guitar Rig has more gear commonly used for keys. Don't let the name throw you off!
Cheers
