Refract and movement were very good and covered a lot of ground
Everyone has a decent limiter / clipper but bus exciter has a nice sound to it
Plugin Alliance, beat that price!

That's the part that's a bit meh. Normally you get a bigger discount if you bought the plugins standalone in the past, but this time early adopters get punished by having to pay twice for two of the plugins. It seems from now on you'll be better off just waiting for the next FX/V Collection instead of buying the plugins when they come out, expecting a discount for the upgrade.dayjob wrote: Wed Jun 12, 2024 5:25 amIt’s only 2 plug ins for $49 for me.bus peak and bus exciter. It's still just €24.50 per plugin though so a good deal.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

It's a decent deal here for me at $99, I own FX 2, so 12 plugins at $8.25 a pop.

Another „meh“ from me. I own v3 and decided to skip v4. Now they want €99 for a few plugins I mostly don’t need (I bought Coldfire separately, and got Refract and the MS-20 filter for free).
I was hoping for one more creative plugin in the vein of Fragments or Motions. The latter is the only plugin I want, but don’t really need. Funnily enough it doesn’t seem to have a discount price, I’d have to pay €99 (lol no).
But another clipper or Lexicon reverb? I’m sure they’re nice to have, but… meh. It seems I’ll have to wait another year to jump on the upgrade.

Would that be different compared to the plugin mix knob of your DAW?

Its only £49 for me, but I dont really have much need for the two newest FX plugins that that would get me(*), so I'll probably skip.
(* like most folk, probably, I got one of the other four that are new to the FX collection, refrakt, for free, and then i got the other one, motions, for under £30)
An idiot on Set Theory:

For me it would be four new plugins (I don't have Motions and the rotary emulation emulation) and there's no upgrade for me either... personally I'm getting a bit tired of multiple, redundant licenses for the same plugins (which is more pronounced in my case due to me owning an Audiofuse), so not this time, Arturia - thank you well.

Great update - 4 new ones for € 49.
Arturia seems to respect here loyal customers.
