Is there a good and free FET 1176 compressor vst

I tried Modern DynaKiller made by Antress, and it worked wonderfully. (Sounds really, really good) But the thing is, it's a project that is deprecated long ago and only available in 32bit vst2. Given that the format is gradually being deprecated in DAWs and OSs as well, I want to have a plugin that I don't have to worry about its future.
I also tried FETISH by Analog Obsession, but I didn't really like the sound.
Help is much appreciated. Tho I might just buy UAD's paid one at some point if I can't find any alternative.

Not 1176, but it has attack, release and ratio

Hybrid, not straight 1176 emulation, but worth checking out is Vidar Hammer

There's lots of quality free stuff out there, like TDR. Tonebooster., Klanghelm, Variety of Sound, they are worth a try and keepers.

To be honest, I've been using the really cheap Stillwell Rocket for years. It must be fifteen years. It works well (although the "impetus" control is almost an on/off setting). Now, this is both a recommendation and a request for comments. Am I missing out on some newer, better emulations? That actually sound better?

Like, I do have T-Racks Comprexxor, which I'm sure can ape a 1176. I never use it

An overlooked compressor, although it's VCA modelled, are the offerings from Sender Spike.
