I'm not exactly sure, but Colin has said it's pretty much ready for releaseaudiouser720 wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 2:30 pmWhen is v2 coming out?jethrobull wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 10:12 amYes! Well I guess someone changed their mind!

I see at least 2 common points between these 2 synths.
First they are from U-He so it shows a certain consistency.
Second, they are not Spire so it shows Pdxindy is still wrong.

I appreciate having a flexible and agile mind that can readily change itself when something new in introduced!
Bazille is still my current favorite as it is a full synth with a lot of creative tools.
But yes, in terms of raw sound quality, Zebralette 3 has set a new standard. Z3 is startling in its dynamic presence and sharp coherent sound. And it does that without strain or harshness. Very impressive!

There’s no substitute for a quick demo. What most impressed me was how good the per voice distortion sounds. Usually it’s something that fails in most plugins, or is just kind of tame sounding.Ou_Tis wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 4:53 pm Spire didn't impress me much on a quick skim through Youtube---any audio examples anyone might want to share?

How do you find the lack of filter in Zebralette 3? That filter on OSC level is it like a proper zdf filter or something more basic?pdxindy wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 4:32 pmI appreciate having a flexible and agile mind that can readily change itself when something new in introduced!![]()

The OscFX Curve Filter is different from a regular filter. It has no resonance control for example. But it is more flexible than a regular filter. You can use wavetable curves to draw the filter spectrum and morph between different filter curves.audiouser720 wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 5:14 pm

Here's a quick example of a saw wave (with unison) and so waveform modulation. So just the static unison saw and all the sound changes are from modulating filter cutoff and morphing the filter spectrum between 2 curves. 1 held note.

No wavetable or samples. Each plugin format type is about 150 mb,mostly just image files for the different skins and sizes. It does have some wave shapes which I assume are sample based but it is not a wavetable synth. It’s a very nice synth probably my favorite . Most presets are hard EDM sounds but it’s capable of anythingNicolau wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 7:31 pm 300+ MB, I don't even feel like downloading the demo of Spire...

I see. Well, I have limited Internet access, so I wish developers would stop being lazy and split downloads up...ChanceB wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 7:44 pmNo wavetable or samples. I just checked Sylenth1, it is not even 35MB, about 1/10th.
