"Just Another Stupid Funk"? More like: "That's a Really Great Funk"! ZioMau, my man, Congratulations!!

Hurray for top 5! Absolutely deserving to be in those positions.

Also.. not bad for my first time, I thought a lot worse, haha!

That would be a real pity, though :( Maybe you just have to take a pause from the challenge and not force yourself to create something you personally don't feel right. It happens to everyone at some point.

wooo
I might have placed low but oh well it was fun and I learned more... I think I held back because I waaaaaay too afraid of going over the rule of "changing the sound of the synth too much"
next time I do as much as I can get away without someone complaining *grins*

Bravo bravissimo, fortunatissimo

To be clear - you can do anything within your imagination inside the synth and it's onboard FX itself. No restrictions. It's just some of the out-board FX you need to be careful with (like distortion). And you can go for your life on reverb and delay - some people used TONS (I sometimes do).
So yes, in future, be brave.

Congrats to the winners. Super pleased for the results of Viroo, MadMacMan and Juergen. Well deserved. Glad you did well.

Hey... Stop looking at me!! :hihi: :hihi:

ok! Keep giving me high marks I don't know if out of compassion or because you really appreciate my stuff. For me you are crazy! In any case, if you don't stop, I will continue to want to produce music for OSC.:harp: So please don't give me high marks anymore! :uhuhuh:

ok...joking...THANK YOU GUYS! :hail: :hail: :hail:
(and congrats to top5, WobbleBlast, my favorite of the round and all the partecipants for great sounds and music)

Music is joy. It should be done for fun and pleasure. If you are disappointed by the results of the first participations in this contest it is normal, but here you certainly improve: the competitive spirit is really friendly (as rarely happens out here) the comments are precious, or there is the Discord channel for insights or for further comparison. Then competing with people who present great projects created with the exact same tools at your disposal stimulates you to look for improvement within yourself and not on the instrumentation. It's sad when someone is disappointed and leaves. For me this is a great school attended by fantastic people!

Thanks everyone again and especially thanks Richard and BJ!

See you soon around here and ciaoooo!!!!

Oops ... omg ... top five!? Me again. Thank you all for your votes!
And thanks for all the many very nice comments. 🙏

As I wrote it was a pleasure to listen to all the tracks. Especially the really cool Ambient tracks ... it's interesting that some synths have a tendency and attract genres. Maybe AudibelPlanets is the Ambient Machine.

I pass the prize on!

Please not ... there goes the story that Edison needed 100 tries to invent the light bulb ... I bet after he failed 20 times he hated to start the 21st time ... but only for a short moment because he enjoys the process of "inventing" as he enjoys the final invention. OSC gave me many moments of the flow, i.e. the process of dialing in weird presets trying out things ... if gave me many frustrations, many cool moments and it's my motivation to finish one piece of music each month which is great in itself.

Thank you very much for the many good ratings and the high scores. I didn't expect it in my wildest dreams, as I saw many of you as much better. So it actually feels a bit undeserved for me. Of course, I can only speak for myself. Anyway... Thank you very very much for that!!! :tu:

Congratulations to the winners!

Also, thank you so much for letting me get this place.
I usually play with the monthly synths but it has been a long time since I properly finished something or submitted it. This time I also almost didn't uploaded it, I'm glad I did.

As for the prize I would like to go with 2 luftrum soundsets:
- Luftrum 29 for Pigments
- Hey! That’s What We Call Bass for Pigments

Now, back to working on my toneZ entry :hyper:
