Hurray for top 5! Absolutely deserving to be in those positions.
Also.. not bad for my first time, I thought a lot worse, haha!
That would be a real pity, though
To be clear - you can do anything within your imagination inside the synth and it's onboard FX itself. No restrictions. It's just some of the out-board FX you need to be careful with (like distortion). And you can go for your life on reverb and delay - some people used TONS (I sometimes do).Zydra wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 7:04 pm wooo
I might have placed low but oh well it was fun and I learned more... I think I held back because I waaaaaay too afraid of going over the rule of "changing the sound of the synth too much"
next time I do as much as I can get away without someone complaining *grins*
Hey... Stop looking at me!!silverpants wrote: Sun Jun 16, 2024 8:04 pm ...And you can go for your life on reverb and delay - some people used TONS
Please not ... there goes the story that Edison needed 100 tries to invent the light bulb ... I bet after he failed 20 times he hated to start the 21st time ... but only for a short moment because he enjoys the process of "inventing" as he enjoys the final invention. OSC gave me many moments of the flow, i.e. the process of dialing in weird presets trying out things ... if gave me many frustrations, many cool moments and it's my motivation to finish one piece of music each month which is great in itself.
Well said, I too like to think of the OSC as a really cool school!ZioMau wrote: Mon Jun 17, 2024 1:47 pm Music is joy. It should be done for fun and pleasure... For me this is a great school attended by fantastic people!
