That sucks, the good news is we are now less than 48 hours away from the two year anniversary of the last new instrumentvulpes777 wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 10:45 am What day is it?
It's "cant-connect-to-rcm-service-day" for me.![]()
Bonus: "Oh, there's an important performance update for RCM out. Weeell, since I was going to reinstall it anyway..."
>Zenology now crashes instead of just taking ages to load
At this point I don't think even P4L can keep me subscribed for another year.

Why spend the money to develop new products when you're getting paid whether you do or not.
Universal Audio has recently figured that out too.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Or the price of gullible consumers failing to vote with their wallets. All those short sighted who are rewarding subscription DRM should be slapped.jamcat wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 8:14 pmThat's subscription economics at work.IvyBirds wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 12:44 pm That sucks, the good news is we are now less than 48 hours away from the two year anniversary of the last new instrument

They need a big sale and new plugins to get things rolling again.

i installed the new version of RCM (3.1.6), fired it up and the first thing it does is flash a message about "New Instruments available".
But, of course, there are no new instruments available. wtf? same old, same old.

Checking back to this thread after a very long time and wow! I'm definitely surprised things have been so quiet and we're getting into June. Hope to see an actual new Legendary instrument soon!

Happy Two Year Anniversary everybody!!!!!
It's now been two whole calendar years since Roland has released a new instrument for the Cloud
And no GALAXIAS and revisions of existing instruments don't count
Also on that date "Running Up That Hill" single by Kate Bush goes to #1 on the UK chart; originally released in 1985, the song was featured in sci-fi television show "Stranger Things", its record 44 year climb to the top also makes Bush (63) the oldest female artist to score a No.1

Considering she has never suggested otherwise and has a greatest hits Anthology Record called
"This Woman's Work: Anthology 1978–1990"
So yes and she doesn't hide the year of her birth

Hey jamcat! Roland Cloud does not require a membership and in fact a lot of users prefer to purchase the plug-ins out right instead of the membership model and we don't mind that at all! We are a small team and took some time last year to update some old instruments and working on some new projects. we are currently working on some new releases for everyonejamcat wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 8:14 pm That's subscription economics at work.
