Are you able to load jpg or mov files to the B layer? The file browser is only displaying folders for me.
Love the visualizer, see that you don't have the title on your video exc.. Something I would like to do for alot of mine. I found the modicia os and looked at all it's software and it looks like Kdenlive and AviDemux have windows versions and may help a bit so I am under pressure to write something new so that I can learn the video software.

Had the same thing. From a post of mine a while back : " if you're on Windows, you may need the K-Lite Codec Pack or similar for it to play videos on the background layer."
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Buy an Oktascope/Kaleidoscope (without stones) and film through it. Theyre really fun!

i can load pics no problem, but video, as whyterabbyt says, you need that codec.
i usually just add live camera in obs, using layers im sure you could do the same with video, or better yet, use da vinci and edit the two together with more attention to detail.
mines more the punk diy aesthetic :hihi:

I did a test video in fl studio it's o.k. for not having to learn much. I am looking into daVinci make take a little bit to learn how to do titles in it. Looks like I can almost use it as a daw, only example I have is someone playing live in it.

theres plenty of good videos for da vinci on youtube, just search da vinci with the particular task you want to learn.
titles arent too difficult, from basic "static title" right through to star wars style scrolling text...

even the "free" demo version, comes with so much, its the special fx you need to pay for.

I just found filmora by wondershare it is fairly easy but they stold my opening title unless I buy the software but it kept the one at the end. I created the video itself in invideo ai. It appears it doesn't know how to do a visual title screen but it can use a british voice and give you the background that you want. I told it to erase the voices on the story and put my sound on that part. The visual sort of goes down hill fairly quickly and it generates some odd things.

Thank you. It appears to be a permissions issue on Mac. I found that I can load media from the Desktop but nowhere else. Anyway, it's working pretty great now and I appreciate the recommendation and help.
