Yeah, I so hate bugs. Which means I hate myself because the bugs are there because of my ignorance.BluGenes wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 12:48 pm hehe, so cool.. love when that happens, well, that "got it fixed feeling" lol
OTOH I know there is no software without bugs (beyond a certain complexity).

Please, lulukom, include more info. Which tab is active in the chord selector? Does this always happen or just sometimes? Do you use a VST3 instrument during playback? If so, does this happen with a soundfont? Is there a phrase or track inspector open?lulukom wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 1:37 pm The program freezes during playback when selecting chords in the chord selector. Beta 5 too.
I need some hints because I could not reproduce it so far on macOS.
Thanks,
Attila

But we already have this for many years:lulukom wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 11:21 am Hello . It seems to me that it would be possible to improve the functionality of the new virtual keyboard and add to it the function of constructing a chord with the transfer of the result to the master track. This is quite a visual way to build a chord for a master track and it can be a kind of chord builder.

Hi Steve,sj1 wrote: Tue Jun 11, 2024 1:10 pm BTW, it occurs to me that a Master CC Mute could be very helpful for troubleshooting by saving us from having to find and mute every CC one-at-a-time when we need to see if the presence of CC output is causing us issues.
You'll find a button for this purpose in the next beta version:

FWIW, I hung the program (in Windows) by mousing around here. Sorry I don't have exact steps to reproduce.

Oh yes of course . Sorry. But if only this type of chord input also produced sound! ) And it would be nice to enter the appropriate scale for the selected chord here. In the same window.

Regarding freezing when entering chords. This doesn't happen all the time, but I've noticed that it happens when I quickly enter chords during playback in the picture below. Only the SF was involved, not the VST .The inspectors were not open. I will monitor these cases and report to you periodically. Thank you . And yes, this has nothing to do with the font.lulukom wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2024 5:37 am

There's only one way to see the chromatic scale on the tonnetz. Displaying notes using only the # sign.
For example C# is the only way to see that note, and there's no way to see it as Db.
Please make this feature available to see notes based on any representation the user wants for any scale.
Thanks!

You have this in settings set? (in the search, just type FL)foster911 wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2024 5:13 pm There's only one way to see the chromatic scale on the tonnetz. Displaying notes using only the # sign.

I changed it but in all cases, only # sign is visible for notes' names on the Tonnetz.BluGenes wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2024 5:25 pmYou have this in settings set? Hi foster911 - What version of RC.? As this is the 'beta' release thread, I take it you're running one of those.? Not near my machine to check with v5.2.3 stable release myself, sorry... I tend not to install beta builds here (more out of habit than anything else... )

You were right, the Tonnetz always used the 'automatic' (depending on scale) setting for displaying flats/sharps.foster911 wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2024 9:56 pm I changed it but in all cases, only # sign is visible for notes' names on the Tonnetz.
Hold on, I'll upload a new beta version in half an hour with the fix.
Thanks!
Attila
