you can see under 'products' if and which products are linked.PieBerger wrote: Fri Jun 14, 2024 11:41 amMaybe they've tighten things up but I was able to sell my V4 license after upgrading to V5. My buyer confirmed that he was able to upgrade from V4 to V5 for 69e. The price implies it was an actual upgrade vs a crossgrade.Igro wrote: Fri Jun 14, 2024 11:38 am On Arturia website it is stated, that you cannot sell the older version after the upgrade/crossgrade. Check the faq.
EDIT: it's clear in the FAQ that the products are linked, but I was able to sell my license. I had only owned it for a few weeks so it had to be processed manually and maybe whoever did it, wasn't supposed to. In any case, two things can be true simultaneously!
When crossgrading, it's important to notice that the initial license becomes linked to the new license delivered on this occasion.
This means that you won't be able to unregister/transfer one of the products without affecting the other one as well.
in my case i bought FX Collection 5, as a crossgrade via account page.
it is not tight together with FX Collection 4.
in earlier days, Arturia never did chain products, and that was confusing..
nowadays, since 2 years? you can see which products are linked...
if they aren't linked you can sell them seperately of course..
