Looper vst with multiple lanes (like a Boss RC-505 plugin)

Hi
I'm looking for a looper vst plugin that can record separately on multiple lanes (like the Boss RC-505 looper) and preferably with separate effects (EQ, reverb, etc) on each lane. Also, I would like to be able to export (preferably by drag-n-drop to the DAW) what I've recorded on each lane.
Any suggestions?

You might try M-Super-Looper.
Also the old Mobius still works, but more like an Echoplex Digital pro layout and function.

Wow. I completely forgot about the Melda's MSuperLooper. Thanks so much Dirk Diggler!
In case there are other (cheaper/better) alternatives please let me know guys!
Cheers!

If there is, I don’t know about them. A 64 bit Möbius is in development, but I have no idea how long it will be before there’s a stable release. Even so, MSuperLooper has a bunch of tricks like the built in effects that make it worth buying anyway.KTlin wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 2:29 pmWow. I completely forgot about the Melda's MSuperLooper. MSuperLooper should indeed do the Trick and seems to be on sale too.

Another vote for MSuperLooper. It is an absolute beast once you get it all set up how you want. Being able to switch between up to 4 loops, on just a single looper track, is awesome for building more complex (i.e. less repetitive) music, like being able to do verse/chorus/bridge etc. And you have up to 16 looper tracks in just one instance... it's madness. And with separate mixer/FX chain for each of the 16 lanes. You can even do different loop lengths per lane if you want, if you're into that sort stuff. And yeah, on sale for half off currently.
I use mine with a custom Launchpad X template wired up through ReaLearn, and also wired up the main looping functionality to the pedals on my FCB1010. Basically I've set it up so I can just jam for hours, swap between tracks/instruments, and basically compose stuff on the fly without ever touching the computer mouse. Absolutely one of my most-used plugins, at home and at gigs, alone or with a buddy.

I used Mobius with my FCB1010 (uno) a lot many years ago, but haven't set anything similar up.funky lime wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 6:03 pm Another vote for MSuperLooper. If you were willing to share a basic Reaper project showing the basic setup I'd love to check it out.

I also used to run Mobius inside Reaper with an FCB1010, and switched a few years back to MSuperLooper and a KMI SoftStep (great combo!)
I made a bunch of demo videos when I was first learning MSuperLooper, some of them with set-up tips for Reaper. You might find video #3 in this playlist useful for getting started with the routing:
Watching back now, it is a bit long (and rather dry), so happy to answer any questions or share example projects. Feel free to send a PM.

Afraid with all my plugins, scripts, and customizations, my project template would be useless on anyone else's computer. But here's an explanation of the basic jamming setup, where I just use 6 looper tracks, each capable of 2 loops, with a rack of 8 instruments.AtomOfScent wrote: Sat Jun 22, 2024 1:35 pm If you were willing to share a basic Reaper project showing the basic setup I'd love to check it out.![]()
I use a Launchkey 88 Mk3 and a Launchpad X.
Instrument switching uses Reaper's VCA grouping, and my buttons on the LaunchKey send program change messages which fire off Reaper actions to select tracks by group. Those tracks are set to record automatically when selected. I also use VCA grouping to have everything else record-arm when I arm Track 1 ("Record!"), so the entire jam gets recorded as individual stems.
MSL sends its outputs to 6 separate tracks, and I use the knobs to control the individual volumes of those via Realearn. I also control the mic volume that way, and the "Instrument Bus" volume (i.e. it's a trim knob for whichever instrument I have selected).
The first 5 faders are for MIDI learning whatever synth I might be using. The next two faders control how much mic or guitar, respectively, are sent to the looper. The final two faders control the delay feedback and amount (ValhallaDelay) for the send.
The pads on the LaunchKey are used for different things depending on the mood and needs. Most often I use them to control my "kick-controlled bass synth," where I select the bass note with the pads (it shows as a 1octave keyboard) and then whenever I hit a kick drum, it also triggers that synth bass note. Sometimes I use it as an instrument switcher, when I'm working with more than 8 instruments in a jam.
FCB1010, I just have record buttons for the 6 loopers (essentially the same function as the red record buttons on the launchpad), nothing fancy there.
The Launchpad controls MSuperLooper. It's an ever-expanding project so a few of the buttons aren't wired up at the moment. I've been meaning to record some streams of the setup but admittedly have been lazy about figuring out OBS and and all that other stuff.
Keyboard shortcuts fire scripts to to quickly open/close the delay send, and the MSuperLooper windows.
I also make swappable "8-Instrument Racks" as track templates, where I can swap out the 8 instruments for another preset rack that I've built. This lets me quickly change sonic palettes between jams.
I've also got a few different HY-sequencers set up in there, not pictured, for drum machine and synth sequence duties, but they are off by default. I've got separate Launchpad templates for controlling those.
