can you use de esser for some weird FX stuff with samples? i never had such a plugin

For vocals, the new Antares Vocal Deesser, is incredible in the way it seperates the ess sounds and the consonants from each other and sounds super transparent. Will have to do much more testing. But I’m loving what I hear from it so far.

You can also use those to control some Harshness in Pad or Atmos, It is our most sensitive Hearing Area and will cause Ear Fatigue when not been taken care of. Worth trying the ones in TBv3; try the Delta Signal on some of your favorite Sounds.

Pro-MB or another multiband compressor. Play with the attack and release on a band starting from 7-9k up to nyquist

I use the waves de esser, or for more problematic tracks I'll use MDynamics from Melda. If there's serious issues (distorted highs or strange high frequency artifacts) I'll use restoration tools like RX or some hardcore fft filtering with automation.
