Not sure if you're aware, but there's a batch script/registry change you can run to restore the old W10 right-click menu, e.g;

Drove me mad that new menu!
Wish I knew about this, been driving me nuts for 6 months

Thanks :tu:

Thank you, Tugger, I greatly appreciate that. Shown about 150 streamers how to access that coulda saved myself a lot of time.

Yep and the Mixer is now ... in the settings window which is :dog:
To fix this one has to install Ear Trumpet ( https://github.com/File-New-Project/EarTrumpet ) or such. Maybe it will be fixed in newer Win11 versions, but I won't be seeing them for years as this one is locked down.

Nope. All benchmarks show differently.
If you'd clean installed win10, you would've likely gotten the same performance boost.

This is also included in my Win10/11 simplifier script.

A while ago, I decided to upgrade… and after a week of trying, I gave up. It kept doing the update and then when it was rebooting, it would back off the changes. Frustrating. I figured I’d revisit it at a later date, but at one random “update and restart/shut down” moment, I said, “update and shutdown,” and in the morning Windows 11 was on my machine. So far, it’s been fine, though I wish I could turn off all the alert stuff that I don’t want. I don’t care about the weather or stock market.

That's part of what my script does.

So the previous machine with win7 was faster than this 16 core one? Nope.
Also really neglible the differences overall between 10 and 11, been really happy with Win11Pro.

The differences are quite large if you compare even slightly less performant machines.
I'm very unhappy with the fact that I have to upgrade hundreds of clients to a worse OS. But that's my job.
Uncertain what you think your win7 machine has to do with this conversation.

You said "If you'd clean installed win10, you would've likely gotten the same performance boost." I did not even think about installing Win10 on this new hardware, and on old the audiocard would have not worked. So I thought the performance boost was clean win10 vs. win7 on old.
Anyway...
