Hi I have the Mangle Vst by Sound Guru only in Demo format , the developer has shut down but I wanted to know if anyone has a licence for it they are willing to sell me or swap for one of my vsts ? Failing that I need a vst for pc that has pitch , size , grain amount (only need one grain) and a window like The Mangle had where I can select exactly where I want the grain to start in the sample (must have) , will pay well for licence which only cost £20.00 or budget of upto £100 for vst .Thanks.

if i am not mistaken the demo and retail installers are different, there was no protection i think

Hi are you saying I can't add a licence to the demo version. The drawback with the demo is it doesn't save current state or sample so I have record and bounce all the time. I have tried other vsts but they are either overcomplicated or not featured enough e.g no window to place where I want the grain to play from. I would be happy to buy the whole vst of someone if they want to sell or swap it.

There are no more licences. The business is closed. Try Padshop Pro, Salty Grain, Portal, Granite, Crusher-X or one of these:

Pigments and/or EFX Fragments can do what The Mangle did. (Great plugin, miss it!)

Granite is probably closest in functionality and overall UI to The Mangle

it is indeed a great granular sampler with some unique things, the spectral stuff.... the FX, the delay... and therefore indeed of the best sounding.... and capable of many 'treatments'...

on sale it can be 60% cheaper by the way....

i am wondering if they still working on version 3, which had some great new features, they mentioned it once.

Emergence 1 is also an option....

https://daniel-gergely.itch.io/emergence1

it has 4 grain streams...

although it an effect....

the Mangle has (it still works on my systems) some nice features; multiple layers, nice modulation etc., envelopes...
but alas, only when you still buy it, even when it was already abandoned.

the website is indeed gone...
