Italo Disco 80s Bass
Good day everyone, guys, I have one question about the bass,
I write in the style of Italo Disco 80s, everything seems fine, drums and so on,
but as for the bass,
The thing is that I exclusively use samples of analog basses, in the piano roll I drew an octave bass in staccato, everything sounds great, but as for Sub bass below 100hz, this is a big problem,
why is there no connection between the bass and the kick drum, the Sub bass Stacatto doesn’t seem to open up, that is, with 16 notes, but if you lengthen the bass from 16 to 8 notes, everything becomes immediately open, but in the Stakatto the Sub bass doesn’t open up for some reason, the bass sounds unique sample

Guys, do you have any ideas, please tell me
If it’s not difficult, I’ll be very grateful,

Sincerely
Park-Hotel.

The 16th notes might be too short for the low, longer waveforms to oscilte. You can either use a second bass for the subs or you just play the 8th and use some kind of modulation to "cut" these. For example have a low pass whose frequency gets modulated by a 16th lfo in sawtooth form. It must not go too low. So the highs get removed and it's like two attacks per note bot the lows stay intact.Tal-Filter 2 is fantastic for this. I did an example-preset:

Hello Nicky ,

I wanted to thank you for your answer, thanks for the information, it was very important to me,
For some reason I always ignored LFO,
I just can’t download this prelet for Tal Filter,
could you send me this preset to my e-mail if it’s not difficult for you,
Sincerely
Park-Hotel
