ReaComp vs every other compressor plug in ever?

But while it is good on a single track, it won't perform that well on a bus. For that I would use other specialized options that are optimized for that. But even then there are solid free options, like Kiive XTMax and Kotelnikov.

ReaComp can do lots but it will NOT do everything you need, and Dan Worrall shows you why, starting about 12:22. However, as others have already noted, ReaComp and a few freebies WILL give you everything you need.

Easily the best compressor I've got and ever used would be FirComp2. This is a transparent compressor and is so clean and musical. I honestly cannot see myself really bothering with anything else.
