Ever since the end of what one might say was a golden era for internet producers acquiring Vst's. With a trill hunting for tressure in the black sea of yesteryear. Now caution is needed on so many fronts including paying for Vst's as many are simply BEEF rotting in trash (https://anarchyaudioworx.com/beef/
so many purchases so many marketing tactics so much space taken and accounts made to never be used or con artist on the used market.

I have to say one of the best purchases I’ve made is in some years is
IKM Total Studio 4 Max -
Im getting more and more into touch screen Vst manipulation/ control and IKM has some amazing GUI's
I also purchased older versions of IKM years ago and it was updated to the latest major version for free <<< Which makes this purchase even more exciting for future updates >> Is it lifetime free updates

The effects and Instruments sound fantastic especially synths only a few effects im not a fan of
I would say the Pros out weigh the Cons for sure. NO ILOK - simple installer resizable and functional GUI and sounds amazing. IKM has aged very well over the years IDK why there's a hate train for IKM but im glad I purchase.
Don’t know a better deal right now for 200 just saying

Definitely some of the most elegant coding in the world IMHO. They've quietly been at the forefront for a long time. Not only are their ampsims tops but they build some amazing
hardware amps as well.

My sympathy for your $$$. IK is OK (I've bought enough of theirs, but definitely not $$$). Installation/marketing approach, well ... sad. Your $$$, ... sympathy.

I’m curious on what people don’t like about IKM. Seems like the replies are mostly “derrr umm AI” Are you saying that the sounds are trash or the effects are trash? What better deal is there for $200? The amount of effects + sounds you get plus it seems to be free updates.. NI has better experimental VST never been a fan of Kontact IKM has better effects Arteria is almost $1000 with no major sampler and paid upgrades same as Soft tube… anyways for anyone out there on the fence, for $200 it’s a no-brainer

The IKM plugins I use (Modo Bass + Drums, Amplitube, Mixbox and T-RackS 5 Max) are great for my purposes, and I've had/got no problems with them whatsoever.

It's a lot of wasted space on the hard disk. 680 GB an average sounding rompler, that's a lot of space. Do you really need all that stuff? Pianos and orchestral stuff are bad - compared to other brands, maybe the electronic and rock stuff sounds better.

If you buy during a special or group buy, you can really get a great deal for your money, even if you don't end up using everything in the bundle. I find Amplitube Max, Syntronix Max and T-Racks Max to be great products that get a lot of use, even if I don't use every single model/instrument. Sampletude... not so much. I never found a use for it, so I own some old version, but it hasn't been installed in a long time.

What? shrug and a question for what? The way I read it he is expressing his satisfaction with the specific suite of tools that he purchased. Which is perfectly fine. Why not? Does it have to be controversy or competition each time? At least he is being positive.
No different than when you express the same or dissatisfaction about something else.
