Virsyn's Poseidon does resynthesis. There was another synth called PPG Infinite that let you do resynthesis, but it's no longer available.Dongledekadopolis wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2023 8:58 pm Are there any additive synths that let you do resynthesis on iOS? I see stuff like AddStation and Cube in the App Store but I can't tell if they let you import WAVs.

if you have Reaktor this one is very good, you can draw harmonics like Vertigo - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/r ... show/8069/

Anyone remember who was selling this? I bought it at the time, and cant seem to find record of it in my email. I just got a new computer and want to add Loom, but cant seem to find where to download the installer and get my serial #.martiu wrote: Fri Dec 22, 2023 9:41 am Loom 2 is on sale for 10$ right now - https://www.kvraudio.com/marketplace/lo ... technology

I think I have that one already listed. I got it from Thomann a few years ago for $7!avid_d wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 8:01 am See:

Looks like it was KVR and ADSR.
Edit: It is on the list.

I would not count impOSCar as an additive synth. It's really a virtual analog/wavetable synth with a harmonic editor. My list is focused on synths that are focused on manipulating partials beyond harmonic frequencies. I will add Icarus 3 though, now it has some cool additive oscillator functions similar to the recently released Sinevibes Flare.felis wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 4:34 pm Didn't read all 8 pages, but you could add impOSCar to the list on the first page.

The updated impOSCar 3 works a bit like Synclavier. You've got 48 partials, and 256 frames.zerocrossing wrote: Thu May 25, 2023 6:32 pmWhat?! Oh, you should definitely check out the emulation of the mighty OSCar.

Each frame can have any or all of the partials at any amplitude, individually drawn or with the use of multiple macro methods. And you can walk through the frames with an lfo in crossfade or spectral mode. What really makes it stand out for me though is the quality of the filters when used in conjunction with the rest of the features.

Yeah, it’s quite good. My only complaints are the OSCar factory patches don’t translate for some odd reason, though you can force them to, and the filter steps like crazy when using the mod wheel or aftertouch. Maybe the original OSCar was like that too? Not sure, but if so, I’d like to have an option to smooth that information.felis wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 2:13 amThe updated impOSCar 3 works a bit like Synclavier. Maybe try initializing a patch, close the filter down, and open it with a very slow sawtooth lfo.zerocrossing wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:01 am ....the filter steps like crazy when using the mod wheel or aftertouch....
Creamy, buttery smooth here.
Maybe the mod wheel/AT thing is something with your controller?
My Kurzweil AT is pretty jumpy/steppy. (You can display the midi output).
The mod wheel is smoother, but not as much so as an lfo.

My controller is a NI Kontrol S61 m3. Buttery smooth on everything else, including other GForce instruments.felis wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 10:48 pmMaybe try initializing a patch, close the filter down, and open it with a very slow sawtooth lfo.zerocrossing wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 3:01 am ....the filter steps like crazy when using the mod wheel or aftertouch....
