Hey guys, I have this problem from 2022 now and it’s still not solved!
Psp support is really making no effort to even address that this is a problem!
Do we have any possibility it can be fixed at this point?
I want to remove all my vst2 for future proofing my workflow and it PSP is the only company that still have problem with this!

maybe mentioning your DAW and OS might help.. I have no issues with their vst3 in Cubendo on mac or pc (at least issues I am aware of).

PSP-Audioware´s VST3-Plugins dont work (and never worked) using Ableton Live (Windows ... dont know about MAC). The host crashes after a short period of time. Neither PSP or Ableton work on a fix. PSP blames it on Ableton ("our Plugins work in other hosts") and Ableton says that other companie´s VST3-Plugins work fine using Live.

A lot of them don't display correctly (IME) in Bitwig and other DAWs, I was reporting them and they were looking into it for a while there, they stopped responding after a time, since it was nearly every plugin with some kind of graphical metering, always VST3.

That's bad, what other companies do you have problems with?pekbro wrote: Mon Jun 23, 2025 9:19 pm A lot of them don't display correctly (IME) in Bitwig and other DAWs, I was reporting them and they were looking into it for a while there, they stopped responding after a time, since it was nearly every plugin with some kind of graphical metering, always VST3.
Also I remember trying the beta version of live 12.2 and had no crashes on psp plugins, but then updating to the stable 12.2 and it went back to crash as usual, do you guys have this problem as well? Have you tried the beta version of live and enabling GPU Renderer to see if it's working?

Enabling GPU Renderer did not fix it.
According to a Thread on Ableton´s forum: "Korg plugins, Sonic Academy Ana2, all Gforce Synths and Minimal Audio Current" and PSPAuidoware-Plugins all crash Windows using VST3.
Ableton definately needs to fix their VST3-Engine.

Strangely enough I use Korg plugins all the time and they don't crash live on both of my machines. I don't have the other ones to confirm! Definitely would love to see it fixed at some point, the VST2 support is getting to the end of it's life soon!mbb wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 9:35 am Enabling GPU Renderer did not fix it.

”…beyond the poor preset support thing.”pekbro wrote: Thu Jun 26, 2025 7:13 pm Weird, I don’t have trouble with VST3 in live, beyond the poor preset support thing.
This alone can be very annoying - forces to use the Vst2 version, if you want a convenient user experience.
BTW the PA plugins are a bad example of the hopelessly messy preset management in their plugins. This has lasted forever, company is lazy and reluctant to correct this.

I’ve noticed most of these VST3 bug complaints come from Ableton and Bitwig users. That’s no coincidence. It’s a different world when you use Cubase or Studio One.

Yeah, using Live is a better world. I’ve got both the Cubase Pro 14 and Live. Started with Logic years ago. Never got used to the Cubase UI, although some feature are much more developed compared to the Live. The UI and work flow are so essential, that you rather work with less feature if the UI pleases you.jamcat wrote: Sat Jul 26, 2025 6:40 pm I’ve noticed most of these VST3 bug complaints come from Ableton and Bitwig users.
