KickDrum 2.0.0 BETA 1 is online now for all KickDrum license owners

BETA 1 is coming up as an effect in Reaper and Cubase
i can hear the kick when i click around the presets, but it is an effect, not an instrument, i'm on win11

Same story in Renoise W10- effect, not an instrument.
Reaper 7.15 W10 - instrument

Same story in FL Studio!

Hi Jan: Live (11 &12) won't see the VST3 of the beta for some reason on my macos arm system. The bundle definitely has the arm binary and Live will see (and load) the AUv2. I've tried a hard rescan of Live's plugins but it did not help.

Are the saturator and clipper going to be pre-computed? I think for oneshots that can often sound better than realtime waveshapers for obvious reasons, but i understand how the majority of people would not see the benefit in that e.g lack of flexibility etc. That's one reason i still have a copy of Xfer Nerve and still do drum edits in audio editors rather than DAW's

Everytime something is edited in Kickdrum a new sample is bounced internally, that then gets played on note in. So, yes the saturator and clipper are going to be precomputed and have the benefit of complete look ahead and therefore will achieve precise quality.

Ableton found the vst when I moved it from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3.
In the new version the install directory for the .component and .vst3 will change, so it will work again without the need to move the file after installation

KickDrum 2.0.0 BETA 4 just went online!

Here are some highlights:
- Ableton 12 on Windows opens KickDrum again
- On macOS, the install path has changed from "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/" to "~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/" (please delete the KickDrumBETA.component and .vst3 in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/ before or after installation)
- On macOS, setup is not asking for a password anymore
- On macOS, Ableton does find VST3 again
- The whole plugin window got treated, and VST3 can now be resized by dragging any plugin edge
- The master oscillogram is drawn as brightly as before now, also the whole drawing algorithm is brand new, looking better and now multithreaded as well
- The plugin does not crash anymore when all devices are deleted
- When other devices are pinned (shine through), their GUI updates on edit
- Envelope device shows tag and crosshair now on the lower half of the oscillogram as well
- Additional performance and robustness improvements

Thanks for the update.

I have found a small bug that occurs in Renoise. When I try to save a preset, the keyboard is still active in the main tracker window, so it adds notes, changes tracks and such in addition to actually naming the preset.
This behaviour occurs in version 1.2.0 and also in beta versions, Windows 10.

When an envelope is modified, the waveform update is sluggish, not smooth and fast as in V1.
