After trying Ozone I'd put in another vote for it. Very detailed in what you can do also.

Stabiliser ?!

Just tried Lens.
After many years listening to different compressors, this one is about perfect.
Only improvement would be an adaptive auto-threshold.

Ozone has something called Harmonic Balancer (I think that's what it's called) Very nice.

Just discovered this dynamic side-chain EQ freebie from an Italian uni, TheMasker. Does the same thing as Soothe and TrackSpacer.

I unashamedly and biased suggest SoundBrigade. Still unbeaten.

VST3/AU/AAX, Apple native.

Already mentioned in this thread :)
They all do something slightly different so I'm not sure what it is yet unbeaten at! And SoundBrigade (which I've had since it was first released) isn't solely focused on the spectral balancing really. But I'm not saying it doesn't do some other very cool stuff! :)

If it received a side-chain input it could begin to compete with these 'frequency spacers' like TrackSpacer, Soothe and this one I posted earlier 'TheMasker'.

I would _love_ to see a side-chain on SoundBrigade. Any chance of that in future?

:D

Sure, interesting subject! VST3 makes it simple.

Transparently and super-easily balancing a frequency region (or the whole spectrum), that's what I mean. I use it on a master all the times.

Its new two "missions" are quite unique at drying-out or taming frequency regions. Loving them on drums.

Yes, blatantly self-promotion, but it is just the feeling. Actually, I really enjoyed developing this tool while fighting against a voice with super-strong resonances and the algorithm popped out as magics.

So sad that since this become a job I can't freely discuss about algorithms anymore. Everything is self-promotion :dog:

Why don't we share a critical file here and compare results?

Having some audio and not just words would be so interesting!

I recently found this one on a thread here. For taming bass resonances it’s the best I ever tried. It can do crazy stuff too.

Now also part of robbert-vdh/nih-plug; which can be found here:

Really good recommendation and very worth to check out.

Yeah I can't find a compiled AU so I might need to do it myself when I have the time.
If anyone else gets there first, drop a link here!

Did you use the nightly.link, those vst3 should show up, maybe with some slightly off GUI - Issues and some without a GUI, yet still somehow usable?
