hi guys, just seeing this and at default setting they are set to this

but souldnt it be set to max value better to effect the whole range of a song?

Not in every case. You hardly want Teote to boost 20 hz or 20 khz regions when they are already OK:ish in your mix. If you want to effect only a certain region of the spectrum you can use the apply range button. Just define the spectrum area you want to "fix", and you can do it with the LoCut and HiCut buttons after enabling the Apply to Range button. Then you can also play with the slope to add even more of the effect or less of it.
