I don't know why I'm so fixated on this little drum machine. A lot of the patterns are pretty bad, and the "clap" sound is really irritating. But Moby said once in an interview that it's his favorite drum machine of all time:
And yet, he didn't seem to use it on any records that I've ever heard. In fact, there are only two instances where I have ever heard this thing on a commercial record. The first is "League of Nations" by Simple Minds:
The second is Aptana by Sad World, and this is just a sample of the first record.
Have you heard any other records that used this thing?

Richard Kirk used it before "upgrading" to the Korg KR55B, so I'm sure it's on early Cabaret Voltaire albums

You're absolutely correct— is absolutely a DRM32! Also is clearly using it as well.
