hey guys,
i used to pump the kick/bass in the past rbass and bx_subsynth a lot but i found them lacking in some regards so i recently got XXL BASS which seems really great! also controlling the harmonics is awesome but i found afterwards that you cannot edit the range? e.g. what if i only want to effect the range from 40hz till 100 hz? this seems not possible.
I also tried now Basslane Pro but either i dont understand this plugin yet or it is a different approach. i just dont get it to sound nice like XXL Bass.
i want to add some more harmonics and balanced bass and also be able to control the range.
thanks

I was thinking the same…..some daws have a frequency splitter, to narrow the frequency range that the effect is applied to.

If you're on FL you can do what I did recently, send the bass to another track, filter out what you want (or don't want), and apply the effect to that send. This is assuming you will have both tracks routed to another Main Bass Bus.

thanks guys! i need to check bass focus how it is compared to XXL Bass.
i dont want to use a splitter or something, well maybe
, but first im looking to have everything in one plugin. and i dunno why XXL Bass doesnt offer this, i sadly somehow noticed it later that it could be handy.
