What do you want from Reason 13.5 or 14?

I will probably skip v13.x, so my wishes/dreams for v14 would be:

- An improved Mimic building on top of features in Dr (Octo)Rex (reading rex files, adjustable properties per slice - not slots)
- Editing samples in RRP (at least basic cutting/pasting/trimming)
- Using VSTs in RRP

If you are a sucker for Combinators, then it‘s an absolute must have. Otherwise you can‘t use many of the available stuff out there.

I agree with you in this respect: simply dragging a VST plugin into the rack is pointless. At best, you could argue with CV modulation within the rack.

Yes; I'd like to use VST plugins inside Combinator in the RRP. That would allow me to build my own 'plugins' including GUI.

just like using the side chain channel for the sampling capacities Reason has.
I believe it's easy to just enable it, Reason Studios deny access to it for some marketing reasons probably.

I'd like the ability to set the RRP to a multiple of the DAW's clock frequency for oversampling like you can with Reaktor. A lot of Reason synths alias quite badly and running them faster would help reduce this.

But seriously, I hate that on other DAWs. And "open device" is a VST-plugin thing, it won't gel with the rack-paradigm. There is already a button on each mixer-channel that brings the inserts in the rack into view, which is hugely superior to any "let's open an individual device in a pop-up window" workflow.
