Is it normal for it to take a very long time to load one instance of sampletank in FL Studio 5? It takes like 5 minutes to load one instance. Does having a lot of samples have something to do with this or what? I hope this can be fixed. I just don't like waiting all that time every time I want to use sampletank which is like on every song. :help:

I noticed the same thing, and then unchecked something (can't remember and I am at work, can check for you when I am at home though) and now it loads fine.
I hope it stays this way (under at least a normal time for the total amount of samples) when I get SS2.

You probably have "Relist Sounds At Startup" enabled (or some similar name). This option rescans all your sounds every time you run the synth. Deselect that option and it will boot much quicker.

This option is found in the preferences dialog box.
