Man the "Some Girls" era is probably my favorite era of theirs, I would have loved to have seen them then (too young). I saw a video of one of their TX concerts from that tour and it was insanely high energy, sounds like they were coked to the gills but it was awesome. You're lucky to have seen that tour.PatchAdamz wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2024 7:53 am Saw the Stones front center (Some Girls Tour), would have been great but that area was standing room only and the crowd was a wave of crazed people constantly being moved back and forth.
Still, that was a big comeback time for them and the first tour with Ronnie Wood.

Now if KVR could stop pinging me for people I've already muted, that would be swell. How about you tone down on the marijuana, get out of lazy-ass mode and fish for yourself? No one spoon fed me with whatever experience and knowledge I may have in this regard. I took the initiative.
I threw the info out there enough to maybe spark curiosity, now go do the work.

Mick danced non-stop like he was a chicken with his a$$ on fire.
Somebody tossed a large cup of soda in his face and he didn't stop for a second.
Keith was buzzed, although off the hard stuff by then.
He did have a bottle of JD whisky on his amp that he grabbed every so often.
I was at the front of the stage so I could see very well.
Ronnie Wood was on his first tour, he stood at the front on the left side just beaming with a big smile the whole time.

The way the KVR poll works is you have a maximum of 30 items that can be added.
I was able to update by removing the 4 artist that no one had seen, and replacing them with requested artist.
I like Joan Armatrading, especially the early stuff.
(Did you know she was a Muzak musician for a while)
Cant remove any artist now, they all have votes....
