The email I received had that video in it, but like I mentioned it's from 2 years ago. Is that a new product or has it been around all that time?

I reinstalled and logged in but the next time I tried I saw the spinning circle again. Windows 10.

And so was 3.1.6 and 3.1.5 before it, to the point that, when me and a few others here contacted support, their suggestion was to downgrade to an earlier version - which by the way doesn't fix the spinning circle issue at all, just the persistent connection errors.ReiKru wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 9:26 am Installed Version 3.1.7 but the same Problem. The orange Circle is spinning around and around and around but nothing happens. No Login
I think I have had enough, unsubscribed. Wake me up when Roland Cloud is worth my time and money again.

@Jon at Roland:
hi Jon
so no jokes here from me now and no irony, i know you are a pr guy and respect that you still try to help out but can you please reply here in honesty to following points:
1. do you guys try to fix the RCM issues for a longer time? it really cannot be that every new update is a mess, the whole system is a mess. when do you plan to make a stable release?
2. is your team and are you aware that about 2 years now no new instruments were added to the cloud? you guys seem to still have enough paying subscribers but come on, i think you can understand that most people and maybe you included, would doubt such a subscription and service and cancel it.
i guess there wont be no direct replies and again "we are aware, wait, and soon and so on". im old enough and have seen enough companies come and go and also know how companies work and this is really more than a disaster and even worse than Native Instruments. you guys should be happy and are lucky that it seems you still as i said, have enough customers and let me tell you, i love the vsts i got from you, im so disappointed how you treat customers and how much NO CARING for existing plugins is existing.

Wow so not only do they not develop any new instruments in over two years, but they have discontinued multiple onesvulpes777 wrote: Mon Jul 08, 2024 8:38 pm Well, I looked up the news so you don't have to: Sound Canvas is being discontinued.

But I have been assured they are fine and have all kinds of things planned and they are taking notes and sharing them in weekly meetings
Here is an idea Jon, how about developing some new instrument and you know actually stop discontinuing others

If you don't mind I'll send you a DM and we can try and figure out what is going on. Your instruments are safe, any purchase you made is in our system and we've never had an instance of someone losing the instruments they purchased.Aloysius wrote: Sat Jun 29, 2024 8:45 pm I can't login to the stupid RCM. Thank you for your reassurance about the instruments.

Well that's a bummer - I bought this a few years back and had hopes it might one day be updated, as it is a useful set of basic sounds, all in one plugin.vulpes777 wrote: Mon Jul 08, 2024 8:38 pm Well, I looked up the news so you don't have to: Sound Canvas is being discontinued.

Perhaps in grand Roland fashion they'll re-release it as 8 separate plugins, one for each type of sound.

I am so happy I sampled all the patches from my hardware SC55 and SC880

So by looking into it, you mean just killed it offJon at Roland wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 7:16 pm We are very aware about the issues regarding Sound Canvas and are looking into them. It is our oldest instrument.
I mean why fix things just pull the plug
The same will happen with RCM as that's unfixable and again Jon and his crackpot team have been "looking into it" for years, so they will just dump the entire Roland Cloud
They will dump the whole program before you know it.
