I've been very frustrated with most free music hosting sites out there.

I tried Soundclick, but didn't like it because they code all of their mp3's to 128kps

I tried Myspace, but the player muffled some of my tracks for some reason (and only some of them).

Then I tried 7161.com, but the servers shit alot and the upload fuction eats mega ass.

Does anyone know of any good free hosting sites? Are there any?

I can host about 8 tracks for free on Vitaminic and Peoplesound.

Has been like that for years - no worries.

But I don't know if the free subscription is still offered to new users.

I recently added Besonic to the list and it went down in some weeks time due to a HD crash and a bad back-up.

Oh, and there used to be IUMA, don't know if they're still around - weren't they taken over by Vitaminic?

Do those who want to listen to my songs (assuming there are any) have to be registered there to download my music? Does sectionz.com allow direct links to the MP3 files?
