A great video about MIDI Guitar 3 and giving MIDI a new life. Also demoed the use of Wind controller, and other goodies - this setup can definitely bridge acoustics and MIDI.

Wasn't aware of this and have a Triple-Play. Works pretty decent so far. Even with my sloppiness.

Wasn't aware of Midi Guitar 3. The Jam Origin page says it isn't available yet. Are you using the beta version?

I had decent results with v2 trial. Beta 3 has some issues on my Mac.

I'm pretty pleased with mine as well.....and this is after decades of using Roland GK/GR setups. I still use my Roland GK-3 but only for COSM Hex-FX processing....no midi. I also found my Triple-Play became even more useful when I added a USB2MIDI converter so I can play my hardware synths without a PC.

I had an Axon back in the day. it was okay, but stuff generally works quite a bit better now. More processing power no doubt.
