Poor man, you obviously have difficulties with reading comprehension - this thread is not about band member eating habits, but "Classic concerts you have attended". Try to re-read the header, slowly.
as i suspected! you have seen zero! beatles eating fish and chips :P

The last time I saw U2 (something like 12 years ago) I paid something like that.

Ca 1986 I paid fl.27.50 for Santana. Then that was about $7, would be $20 in today's money. He's way more expensive now, I know from experience.

Bruce Springsteen ticket price.....

"In Austin, ticket prices start at $216, and front row tickets cost upwards of $4,600."

Worth it?

It's like the Disneyland doc I just watched. A room at the Disneyland hotel cost $10.00 TEN DOLLARS per night (in 1960). Inflation adjusted that's about $120.00 today, but rooms at this hotel START at $725.00 per night. Hmmm. Seems to be a disconnect somewhere.

Yeah, he's not exactly Fugazi considering the subject matter of his music

I don't actually know his music very well, wasn't in my playlist.
Just find it ironic that one of the voices of the working class, charges the working class so much......

i can't afford concerts

me and my delinquent "friend" did afford going to a strip joint
twice, if i rememember correctly
i remember the first one
it was the music that the strippers were dancing to that i remember
led zeppelin's entire "in through the out door" album
the sound system was great

another time, we went to see a ac/dc concert film
the cinema owner had all these huge speakers on the front stage
and we had great seats
and that sound system was supergreat
it was better than the live david bowie concert we went to
cos like ac/dc were in their prime and david bowie wasn't
and we had way way sucky seats at the david bowie concert
ah böwakawa poussé poussé

That's a far more eloquent rendering of what I meant :-)

I think Fugazi must be the only band who put on increasingly cheaper concerts!
