That's nothing!

though in the case of Phoenix/Nimbus.. basically Michael Carnes all creations, are by the literal creator of the top tier latest Lexicon models, both hardware and software
To be fair none of the algos they became/are famous for though, right? ;-)
Eh? I'd call the Lexicon 960 quite "classic" in the high-end market. And the more affordable Lex 96 is also very popular, at least I've seen in several times in various live and studio sound racks here in Finland.

Yes, the internet is full of people asking for a 960 emulation...

by the way: do you personally prefer the UAD 960L, the Relab emu or the one from Softube? Asking for a friend... :-)

Back to the Rev6000
I'm glad it gets released now.
An absolutely amazing reverb from small drum rooms to nice vocal reverbs.

Give it time, it'll eventually happen. The system is/was so expensive that very few people have used it, kinda like the tc6k but at least we got much cheaper cut down versions of that directly from Tc E themselves about 15 years ago.

As for the Lexicon 96 rack, that was already released in plugin form as the Lexicon Native bundle. Unfortunately after harman bought the company, it all kinda went downhill from there. I just hope they release m1 native versions at some point. They've been teasing that possibility for years now.

GUI is silly. Tall. Tiny writing. If you increase the GUI to see the text, the GUI gets too tall. Maybe I missed something. I got rid of the demo version after that. It was a pre-release version. Probably have too many reverbs already anyway.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Gave it a spin because why not... crap, I think I'm going to have to buy it. I pretty much only have colored/vintage/lofi/blah blah blah reverbs and this definitely offers something different.

The GUI doesn't bother me but aside from a time knob or slider and a quality selection of presets I don't really need to interact with a reverb's GUI much.

You can load each knob you use more often into the six slots with the optional faders at the bottom.
