Not hearing much about the new update. What's going on with it?

Maybe they prematurely uploaded it?
For me it was not a good update - its clearly less stable than the previous 1.0.1 version. But maybe that's problem related to my specific setup.

They did it
The one thing I was waiting for till this came out: the sequencer pattern randomizer as great as was the sound randomizer already.
I have not updated for 1.0.1 but when I saw 1.1.0 I must just try and its there
Now some ambient presets for sounds and patterns and I am done with drums forever....(kidding of course
but this gets really close now....)

Can you expand a bit on what was unstable about it? Is it crashing? If it's unstable I'm definitely going to wait on it.Fannon wrote: Mon Jul 15, 2024 7:20 pm Maybe they prematurely uploaded it?

It randomly crashes (after a few minutes usually) for me when I play MIDI notes into it, e.g. by MIDI controller or by playing MIDI clip from DAW into it (Reaper, Bitwig). It hasn't crashed for me yet, when I use the sequencer, so I assume its something about the MIDI in?seangm wrote: Mon Jul 15, 2024 9:42 pmCan you expand a bit on what was unstable about it? Probably most people will use Triaz with the sequencer as input, right?
But yes, the new randomizer is really nice!

Windows 11, Bitwig & Reaper.
I've reached out to support and they got back to me now. In general, they don't see this stability issues from others, so it seems to be something specific to my setup. My guess is that it's related to the MIDI input. They're looking into it

Weird! I am also Win 11 and have tried it with Bitwig and haven't had that issue, no idea what it could be especially if just playing midi in from a DAW crashes it- most people will probably do that and that means its not controller specific...Fannon wrote: Tue Jul 16, 2024 1:58 pmWindows 11, Bitwig & Reaper.

I like Triaz, but even with the new randomizer, I get completely unpredictable snare and kick patterns. While it fits the definition of "random," having the kick pattern like a hi-hat and the snare like a tom isn't very musical. Am I missing something here? Regardless of the intensity setting, it always sounds like a drummer going wild.

try using a second instance of triaz, without any kicks or snares (so the other sounds are randomized, and your original instance, with kick and snare for example, is consistent). just a thought....Junolab wrote: Tue Jul 16, 2024 7:29 pm I like Triaz, but even with the new randomizer, I get completely unpredictable snare and kick patterns. Not necessary, as you can randomize individual lanes as well (i.e. just the kick, the snare or whatever; or you lock lanes: anything but lane X and Y). Also you can choose the genre and the intensity. Watch the video how to do this. Should come up with usable stuff.
