Still useful to see what the features of the new instruments are, which is why I posted. And it may go live soon, given that Japan time is ahead of U.S. time.
It is great that you posted it :tu:
I have been waiting for The Arp 2600 to be released so i can wait a few days more until it is released on the Official Shop page :)

Can I use one from someone who has decided not to upgrade from 4 to 5?
Otherwise I’d be starting as a registered owner of the M1LE.
Haven’t seen a deal on that yet, though there was one for Collection 4.
If they are not personalized you can have mine

The korg.shop software page says it is "temporarily unavailable due to maintenance."

Release imminent, perhaps?

Edit: test-shop links say the same thing now, too.

Still no Trinity or 01/W ?
And no Triton effects like St.Chorus in MDE-X ?

Would be awesome for Korg to make a Super Rompler instrument with all of the sample content from M1, T series, 01/W, Trinity, and Triton in one instrument

If Korg's latest Windows software requires Windows 11, that leaves me out. My system hardware doesn't support Windows 11.

korg Shop has been down for maintenance all day. New way to build suspense around a release?

They already released M1 and Triton which are both amazing instruments. I don't know what's stopping them from releasing the other "Workstation" synths

Korg Shop finally back and Collection 5 available. Kinda bummed the upgrade cost from Legacy Collection is $199, was hoping for maybe more of a launch discount than that.

The 2600 does not seem to be available to demo yet.

Edit: it's not on their main website either. I think the shop people jumped the gun a little.

The demos are working now if you update Korg Software Pass. First impression is the 2600 interface looks nice but at least for me doesn't scale as well as I would like. Things look blurry to me over 100%. Still, looks fun to use and if you are familiar with patching on the MS-20 plugin you'll be right at home. Does seem very CPU heavy on my system, I'm not sure I have another plugin installed right now that uses this much CPU.

Minimum requirement is Windows 10/macOS Big Sur.

Are you using a HiDPI display? On a 4k "retina" display, at 100% scaling the UI fills the screen vertically and about 4/5 horizontally. I just checked 150% scaling (far too large for that 4k display) and it still seems acceptably sharp. If you're seeing a problem on a non-HiDPI display, please let me know and I'll look into it.

It's absolutely a heavy plug-in. That's the price for doing a real model of the 2600, with all of its saturating opamps and idiosyncratic modules. Even the envelopes are computationally expensive. Hopefully you'll find that the quality is worth the CPU cycles! More info here, along with some tips: https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/a ... erformance

Downloaded the demo. Getting 40% cpu as soon as I open the 2600 though, If I set it to poly it jumps up to 60% :(
I hope they can do something about that.

Edit- Changed oversampling to x2 and it's at 20% now

Also just found out that even though I upgraded, it's all registered in Software pass, If I try and activate I get "license not found" So can't actually use them for more than 20 mins at this point
