Recently I have been watching a "boy-band" competition/elimination show from Vietnam: "Ahn Trai Say Hi" on the YouTube channel of VieON.
Maybe not to everyone's taste, but I like the variety of looks, the sense of humor, and the backstage discussion, rehearsal, and recording scenes, as well as the musical presentations themselves. It was in fact this show that inspired me to get a one-year sub for Pro Tools Artist.
There was a moment where a group leader called his team's captain so they could discuss the current "music meta" -- so these guys are thinking about what dance moves and song hooks could go viral globally.
This show alone has me thinking that Vietnam is bursting with creativity in the music, fashion, and entertainment domains -- maybe in others as well.
A drawback of watching the show on YouTube (if one is not a premium member) is that the ads will cut in during the middle of a performance. I tried the VieON app for Android, but couldn't get English subtitles to work -- something I should discuss with VieON support to see whether those are even available for that show on their app.

On my side, maybe a benefit of this is that I finally gave YouTube Premium a try (to eliminate the ads) -- which includes YouTube Music -- and was pleased to see they have a lot of Françoise Hardy's catalog, including a remastered version of Voilà.
That aside, it might amuse and/or delight some to see this music video, especially for the intro:
Some might also remember this one ("Comment te dire adieu"):
Eh bien, it seems I have digressed. Maybe I could say that I appreciate both "Ahn Trai Say Hi" and Françoise Hardy as new sources of inspiration.

Back on topic, one of the things I like about "Ahn Trai Say Hi" is the self-awareness and format-awareness jokes, like "which bro has six-packs" for a shirt-lifting moment in the presentation.
