Surprised that KVR isn't all over this one

Advanced compressor with 365 parameters. VST3 only. Costs 19 euros.
Includes presets which act as a starting point to mimic many software compressors.

This one is deep.

*disclaimer : I'm not the dev or in any way or shape involved. Just did read about it elsewhere.

Sad. No manual.

I couldn't imagine a plugin I'd be LESS interested in than a compressor with 365 parameters.

But other folks will love it, and hey, that's cool too. Just not at all for me.

You'd have to be a complete compressor nerd to even contemplate it. Sounds a bit like using a neutron bomb to crack a peanut. 365 parameters isn't a pro, it's around 360 cons IMO, maybe 355 if I'm being generous. It puts me off even going near it.

This is right up my alley. Just give me a few years to grok it.

I would be interested as well depending on the included features. It could be used to recreate the sound of many well-known compressors. But the website and the missing manual doesn't leave a good impression so it's questionable how much can be done with it.

Beginners are welcome :
-to have rapidly ~80 comps for 19€ if they want to cultivate and compare things
-to have visual difference between linear and db and then get the sense of scale
-to get some presets in futur for difficult compression task (piano, accoustic, vocal, etc.)
-to not having to change compressors every x time in their futur career :) and in same time being able to know what inside other :)

Nerds already know why they are welcome :)

In case some have missed infos, in order not to repost the same thing here,

For sure a manual will be written (it will take a little time :) )

If you write one parameter per day it will only take a year :D

If you only support the development of one compressor this year, it should probably be this one. :tu:

I would like to know if I can input my own formulas for the detector or if I'm forced to use the included ones. It would be great to add formula support to other functions as well.

No it is a static list ...
What other functions do you think of ?

Post

Ideally all of them. I'm basically dreaming of a modular compressor.
